Video

To the right you'll find a project I did for my digital communications class this semester. The assignment was to create a ~5 minute video on a topic of our choosing, and so I decided to showcase Furman Elite, a professional running club founded in 2012 and situated at Furman University. I used Final Cut Pro to edit and gained some valuable knowledge about the program while working on this project. Enjoy!

Podcast

Another assignment I completed for Digital Communications was a podcast about the effects of technology on dating and the way in which today's romantic relationships unfold. Working with two classmates, my main jobs were first to interview one of our three interviewees and then to put everything together using Final Cut Pro, a task that, again, proved beneficial to me as I continue to learn the ropes of the program.

Slideshow

My classmates and I were also assigned a photography project in which we were to capture a topic of our choosing through photographs that would tell some sort of story when arranged into a slideshow. I chose to capture a "Workout Friday" with Furman Elite and the Furman cross country teams.

Blog

Last but not least, throughout the course my classmates and I kept individual blogs about class readings (including Paul Virilio's Open Sky) as well as on the various assignments listed above through which we were to focus on topics decided on at the beginning of the semester (in my case, Furman Elite).
